A collaboration between my friend Sarah Safaie and I. In addition to being an incredible saxophonist and musician, she is also a beautifully gifted poet. In this project, Sarah shared field recordings with me that she took while visiting family in Iran. While I treat and collage these recordings live to create a soundscape, Sarah recites poetry.

Without her poetry, I consider this piece incomplete, but the field recording collage is nevertheless important and beautiful to me.
